Art vs. Craft

When I was in art school a sense of art over craft was ingrained in many of my classes and critiques. Now that I am older and oh so much wiser (ahem), I find myself creating more crafts. A healthy obsession with www.pintrest.com is helping me move away from the

pretentious notion that craft = crap.

The indie craft movement of the past decade, coupled with attending Handmade Arcade and I Made It! markets have helped me realize that crafts are not just crocheted doll toilet paper covers.
